Aerial Analytics LLC was established by seasoned business professionals to leverage the technological advances of analytical sensors and small Unmanned Aerial Systems for purposes of producing actionable data for enhancing asset management and asset evaluation.
Strategically located within the high-tech corridor of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, Aerial Analytics LLC has access and networks that support a unique approach to data analytics, problem solving and utilization of collected data for Mixed Reality, AR and VR applications.
It is our intent and philosophy to remain at the forefront of the sUAS, sensor & data environment to better serve our commercial enterprise and governmental agency clients. All operators are FAA part 107 licensed, insured and retain specialized certifications for sensor use and interpretation.
Seamus Mannion
Managing Partner
Seamus Mannion has more than 25 years of experience in business management, development and operational excellence across a wide range of industries including consulting, insurance, telecommunications, banking and information technology.
Early in his career, Seamus worked as a Senior Consultant for Keane, partnering with financial institutions to help manage mergers and acquisitions across the Southeastern United States. Following his time at Keane, he worked as a Senior IT Manager and assisted in facilitating the merger of BTI and Deltacom, a consultant for AT&T and helped facilitate the divestiture of multiple IT systems during the government mandated split-up of AT&T and Lucent Technologies.
Prior to co-founding Aerial Analytics, Seamus was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC where he was Director of Division Operations for Sales and Marketing and had oversight for $400 Million in Operating Expense. While there, he earned his Six Sigma Master Black Belt and facilitated the establishment BCBS’ Six Sigma Continuous Improvement Program.
His education includes a B.S. double major in Management Science and Computer & Information Systems from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada and a MBA in Supply Chain Management from North Carolina State University. He retains a remote pilot FAA Part 107 rating.
Peter Nilsen
Managing Partner
A senior Corporate Development executive with over 25 years of global strategic growth experience, Pete has built an effective record of advising and implementing value creating strategies within the scientific, medical and energy industries.
Following his 8 years of military service as a Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps, he joined Eckert & Ziegler AG, a European start-up medical device and energy component manufacturer specializing in radiological devices and instrumentation. In his management capacity as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development & Acquisitions of US-based Isotope Products Laboratories, he significantly contributed to an industry consolidation leading to global market share leader and a successful public offering.
Prior to co-founding Aerial Analytics, Pete founded Middle Market Resources, LLC, a strategic M&A advisory firm to assist operating businesses in implementing value creating strategies resulting in strategic acquisitions and exits within the energy and infrastructure industries.
His education includes a B.S. from Northern Illinois University and MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He retains a FAA commercial instrument and remote pilot Part 107 rating.
